Visit a unique showcase of gardens throughout the Creston Neighborhood

The Creston Garden Tour is a self-guided tour of the spaces around the neighborhood. You start at the Creston Community Garden and make your way around using the map provided. We encourage you to see as many of the gardens you can! Each host will be ready to answer any questions you have about their garden. It's a really great opportunity to see what all you can do in every sized yard that Creston offers.

Tickets

Advanced ticket sales are encouraged! Advanced tickets are $10 for CNA members and $12 for non-members. Day-of tickets will be available for purchase for $15 each on event day at the Creston Community Garden, 205 Carrier St NE.

Where are the gardens?
The gardens are spread throughout the Creston neighborhood. Participants will receive a map of the garden locations on the day of the event. Map/ticket pick up will be at the Creston Community Garden, 205 Carrier St NE, on event day.
Can I walk to see all the gardens?
Creston is Grand Rapids' largest neighborhood and the gardens are pretty spread out. Use of a bicycle or vehicle is recommended to be able to see all of the gardens.
How long will it take to view the gardens?
It should take approximately 2.5-3 hours to view all of the gardens.
Are the gardens the same every year?
Each year we curate a mix of new and returning gardens.
Is the Garden Tour kid friendly?
Yes! In fact, kids will receive an activity sheet to keep them engaged and entertained through the event.
Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

Is there a place to grab a drink or a bite to eat nearby?

Absolutely! Creston is full of great gems to eat and drink including the Creston Farmers Market, Fika, Rez Lounge, Kingma's Market, Iker's Tacos, 616 Kabob Stop, Sparrows Coffee, Quickwater Coffee, Good Good Good, and more! 

Where do I get my ticket/map?
Map pickup will take place on Garden Tour day at 205 Carrier St NE from 9am - 1pm. 
When can I visit the gardens?
The gardens will be open from 9am - 3pm.
