Public Safety

The Creston Neighborhood Association (CNA) organizes neighborhood residents and resources to promote the social, economic, and environmental health of the Creston community.  We offer several services and programs that will help you keep your neighborhood safe.  These programs have been proven to deter crime and are easy to implement.  The following are some examples of what we can do to keep Creston safe:

Neighborhood Watch – Get to know your neighbors and learn the importance of keeping an eye on your street. Get in touch with CNA and your Community Officer and organize your block today!

Free Home Security Surveys – CNA in collaboration with the GRPD would be glad to extend this free service to your household. Contact CNA for more info.

Victim Assistance – Are you fearful after a burglary in your home? Unsure of who to call about your case? Anxious about going to court?  Call CNA and let us assist you.

We also have a number of Volunteer Opportunities that help keep our neighborhood safe:

Public Safety Volunteer – Worried about crime on your block? Wish you were better informed? Get involved by becoming a Neighborhood Watch Block Contact!  Serve as the go-between for residents on the block, CNA, and the police department/city agencies.

National Night Out Celebration – On the first Tuesday in August, join CNA, neighbors, and volunteers in celebrating crime prevention awareness.  This is a family event with assorted booths and activities.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, please call CNA at 616-454-7900 or email info@crestongr.com.
